Popped into my favorite shop today after being out of town for the holiday. They had this necklace on display. No makers mark that I saw. The clasp is a hook and eye, but between the beads and clasp was a literal rectangle link chain on each side. Really pretty and heavy.
Supposedly the guy bought it in the 70s and it’s been in his lock box 
Nice necklace and the price seems fair. At today’s silver price you are probably only paying about $200 over scrap. A bargain.
@StevesTrail thank you for the input. It’s a nice piece but I didn’t love it enough to buy (despite the great price). I just thought some of you might appreciate it. 
Nice piece for that price…I like it but that chain has me doubting it is NA made. Of course it doesn’t appear it was advertised as such. Has anyone seen a chain like this used on NA beaded necklaces?
