I bought this magazine today, because this issue features our favorite subject! And some of our favorite smiths, too! They could have featured many more, of course.
I took photos of the article, I hope you all can see the type clearly to read it.
If it’s hard to read, let me know and I’ll re-photograph it.
Can’t wait to read this as soon as I get a chance! Thank you!
I know my favorites
@Stracci Thank you!! No problem reading the articles. So much talent and beautiful turquoise jewelry on these pages. I have several rings with Tyrone turquoise (a fav) & and a couple with Hachita turquoise ~ Yay NM!
I was happy to see Elgin Tom in the article. I follow him on Instagram, and I would love to own one of his pieces someday.
Happy to see Albuquerque the Magazine publishing an article devoted to Native silversmithing, and silversmiths. Looks like a terrific article! Thanks for posting @Stracci!
The magazine’s owners Larryl Lynch, and Gena Goodson are longtime very good friends. Larryl is Navajo and grew up in the Gallup area, has silversmiths in his immediate family, and wears daily a beautiful turquoise and silver link bracelet made by his sister.
Here’s a snapshot of Larryl (with bracelet) and Gena taken back in 2012.
Here’s a link to their website for anyone who loves Albuquerque and is interested in subscribing;

Mike, I am astounded by all the people you know!
It’s a really nice magazine , dare I say that I like it better than New Mexico magazine, that I’ve had a subscription to for many years.
lol. Still a Burqueno at heart, Stracci! Albuquerque was my home from 83 until late 2020.
@mmrogers
I’ve been here for 24 years. It really is a special place.
