Well I went to an estate sale this morning and as usual I ask if there was any Native American jewelry. She showed me a couple of miscellaneous little small things that were in the cabinets and then said I have some really good stuff but it’s so busy let me give you a card and we’ll set up an appointment for you to look at it. Then she must’ve paid attention to what I was wearing and when I was at the register getting some stuff priced by her she said hold on in just a minute. She came back with a plastic shoebox full. This was one of the first pieces I pulled out. It’s probably a little long for me but I really don’t care I’m going to wear it anyhow. It is 26 inches from the back of the neck to the bottom of the tips. The bolo slide is one and 3/4 inches by one and three-quarter inches. The stone itself is one and 3/8 by one and 3/8 inches the tips are 2 inches long and the four centerpieces are each 3/4 of an inch long. The bolo weighs 170 g. I do believe I made out like a bandit. There were also cuffs and one other Bolo that I really liked also by Allison Lee. I messaged her and told her to hold it and I would be there tomorrow. I also purchased two cuffs which will be showing up in separate posts. Just curious to what everybody thought about my beautiful new bolo. And I don’t even have to ask you to guess about what type of turquoise.

Yes and tomorrow I’m going back and pick up the other one she’s holding for me. It is a lighter blue with a tan matrix same impressive build and the stone is a larger oval. I am extremely excited and overjoyed. Happy birthday to me! it is also Allison Lee.

Interesting that the previous owner wrote the karat weight of the gorgeous morenci turquoise on the back. Shows that the owner, or someone, thought it was important!
