Hi! I have a small collection of Peterson Johnson pieces and recently acquired this ring. I know a small amount about this artist, but I was wondering if his earlier pieces had any differences from his newer pieces? This ring’s design is slightly different from anything else I’ve seen of the artist, with his usual design being more feather-like. Could this be an earlier piece? Also, I know it’s difficult to determine exactly where a particular piece of turquoise is from, but can anyone give me suggestions? It is spiderweb with a very high shine - no cracks or chips.
