You’re selling it currently. So you know what you paid. Where did it come from, what was said about it?

Yes I am currently looking for a buyer. I’m not sure how much was paid for it where it was bought I have no information on it whatsoever… I found it in my mother’s things when she passed… I do apologize for the lack of knowledge I have on it.

So sorry that you lost your mother. That’s never easy. From what I see in your pictures above it appears that you are on the right track. You have good pictures, a clear one of the hallmark and the weight. I assume that you have also included the size. I can’t offer much in the line of pricing that I am going to take a picture of the initials from my Hogart third edition Hallmark book. That’ll at least give you some names to research. You need to use reliable sources to find out who does what kind of work rather than attribute it to somebody that you’re not sure about. Sometimes it’s better not to give it a name and just let the initials talk by themselves. I see so many things miss attributed particularly on eBay.

reading your description there is no mention of the metal. have you had it tested?

No I haven’t had it tested but a magnet :magnet: does not stick to it if that helps any…
