Anyone familiar with this type of work?

I bought this at auction and am at odds. Tests 90% silver but still looks to me to be silver plate. No markings that I can find. The intricacy appears to be factory produced. Any ideas are much appreciated. Thanking you in advance for your time.

Hi there! Often times with acid testing, the plating on a piece of silver jewelry will render a positive result. You must “scratch” the jewelry piece tougly so that the base metal gets tested. I believe that’s what’s happening here. The brassy coloring of the protruding high points of the jewelry indicate silver plating. Your jewelry appears to be a costume brooch, probably from the seventies when Native American jewelry was booming

Hi Bigbree43- As always, thanks for your infinite wisdom. Makes me glad I didn’t pay but a pittance!
