Big Bisbee Ring

This is a chunky ring with what looks to me like Bisbee. SIze 13 1/2 measures 1 1/2 x 1 inches on top. I am having trouble identifying the maker. It is engraved with REJ. Any thoughts on value?

You find some interesting pieces. I don’t think of this stone as a piece of Bisbee. Does the ring have age, or is this something the artist is trying to make appear old?

I am guessing that it does have some age to it. Too many little mistakes under the loupe. It is from an auction back east, connecticut. Here are some closer pictures that may help. It reminds me of things I have seen before…
