Just picked up this Naja- type pendant. I really liked the elk antler imagery. Would you guys call it a Naja? Or just a pendant? Also, any idea on the hallmark? How old do you guys think it is?
I went through Hougart’s book and he has a James Mason, Jess Martinez, Juan Martinez and Jackie Manygoats with a JM hallmark. I am familiar with Jess Martinez and this wouldn’t be his work. Juan Martinez is listed as being a Zuni artist who works in inlay, doubt this would be his. Not familiar with either James or Jackie. I would definitely call this a naja. It looks like it has some age.
