Taking into account the type of work, and material, and bearing in mind that easily 95% or more of all Native American jewelry ever made has been created for sale to non-Native American markets, it’s a very good bet that your bracelet was produced for commercial sale, rather than as a personal piece, or a gift.

All good insights, Chicfarmer, and you’re right that for a piece like this having it in hand would help tremendously. Kinda got a chuckle when you referred to me as a “Maker”. Sort of sounds like a promotion . I tend to think of “makers” as affluent hipsters with well groomed facial hair, and an amazing collection of the latest 3d printers, and desktop mills.
