Hi hope everyone is well - I have a stone query - I thought these were Carico Lake based on the colour and examples I’ve seen online but someone said no - so I’m stuck! If it’s not Carico Lake does anyone have an idea what kind of Turquoise it is? Thank you in advance xx
Could be. But honestly it’s very hard to tell without providence. looks alot like royston to me. Which there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Royston has some of the most beautiful stones in the world in my opinion
Thank you - I hadn’t thought of Royston! It could be with that matrix - I’ve got a few Royston pieces but a deeper green colour but they do come in a lot of shades - I’ll have a look thanks xx
Many times when you see these calibrated cuts it means that the stone was cut overseas. Stones like Carico Lake and Royston you don’t usually find in these precise cuts, not wanting to waste any of the valuable stone. Most likely this is Turquoise Mountain. Beautiful piece enjoy wearing.
