So i bought this to take apart. I dont want to destroy it if its valuable which i dont think it is. However i am curious if anyone has seen these black spots on coral before? I think the blue may be bone beads.

I believe that is dyed bamboo coral, relatively inexpensive. Not the same as branch coral.

I dont think i have ever seen bamboo coral so i guess thats why it looks so different with the dark little spots. I just wanted it for the beads and im thankful to have knowledgeable “Turquoise people” to ask all my dumb questions all the time. Some day they will boot me off of here.
