Hello Turquoise friends. Long time lurker here, grateful for all the expert advice shared. I am planning to make either a ring or a pendant featuring this Damale/Damele cab mined in Nevada in the late 1980s - early 1990s. Should I file down the cracked seam and add a thin strip of fine silver bezel? Fill the seam with epoxy? Grind down to a smaller cab? Leave as is and use a high, thick bezel to try to stabilize that chip on the outside edge? Other ideas? The cab is backed. Thanks in advance for your advice!

I agree with @Stracci, and suggest having it professionally re-cut if you can. It’s a lovely cab, and you want a professional shape and finish on it.
