I did buy it on eBay here in the US out of Oklahoma I can say with confidence it is authentic just curious if anyone recognizes the work it is a wonderful piece

I’m sorry , I find this picture really disturbing. I don’t mind taxidermy (obviously, I have inherited a stuffed black bear), but this monkey just hanging there bothers me.
It’s the hanging there “part” that now can’t be unseen.
Same same. Additionally, I was concerned to be looking at possibly an endangered ape’s hide and I don’t know what else. Perhaps @Jason will review.
I mean no offense to the profession of taxidermy but, I found the photo of the ape disturbing and discomforting. I understand this forum to be primarily about discussion and shared knowledge of Native American/Southwestern jewelry.
