Thank you for your kind words on the photos, but at some point I need to share some that aren’t bled like those. My only thought at the time was getting close ups of the details. I’ve always loved the technical aspect of that belt, and think it’s an example of refinement in the craft.
I think of this often, @Stracci, and wish I could speak with all of these pieces we love so much. I find myself daydreaming about all of the possible trails they could have taken, especially when we may be fortunate enough to have learned some of the history.

This, sadly, is another thing I ponder often: how many exceptionally talented silversmiths and artists will never be known or celebrated for their work.
