Thanks @Ziacat , will have a detailed look into their shops. Know Garland’s, love it. They have a lot of articles that explain stuff.
In my case, sitting in Europe, I just had the rare chance to get six or seven amazing items within the EU for an incredible price, no import tax etc., so that’s why … and honestly, neither the seller nor any jeweler here can tell what is a natural turquoise. 99% have never heard of Kingman or Carico Lake. Tried two here in my big town and both said, well normally turquoise has turquoise color so they cannot tell me anything. Yes, there will be exceptions, just I have not found any jeweler with experience in turquoise here so far.
That’s kinda funny, “normally turquoise has turquoise color.” Uh…yeah …
When I visited Garland’s in April and bought a ring, I asked them if it was natural, and the seller told me all the rings were natural in the cases. On their online site they are clear when something is natural versus stabilized. But I know that I have pieces with stabilized turquoise that are also beautiful (sold to me honestly by the seller). I’m sure that most of my necklaces are stabilized, and there was a recent discussion in another thread about why this is often the case.
