Heavily tarnished bracelet w/ turquoise, wondering if it might be Native American

The tough part about silver (plate and sterling) is there is a point of no (or not much) return once it gets to a certain deeply tarnished stage. Polishing will bring it back to a degree, but it will usually not have that brilliant shiny look as when newly made. Unfortunately google brings up all sorts of “home remedy” options that are pretty damaging in their own right. You’ve got a funky vintagy vibe going with it at present, I’d stick with that as it’s a very fun piece.

Thank you kindly @RedlandMaggie , i’m growing quite fond of the bracelet.

By the way i now think that i was totally wrong about the stone being dyed. Some darker blue areas seemed off and i’d been looking at a bunch of badly dyed turquoise cutting scrap the day before and was thinking that a similar process had caused that discoloration. But as coincidence would have it i started working on some untreated Royston today and it has the same type of slightly darker blue areas (in the center). It’s a bit hard to catch a good photo under this light, but perhaps it’s visible.
