I have two turquoise cabochons and one nugget.
- This first cab has a beautiful brown matrix, and is consistently the same blue throughout
- The second cab has varying blue hues throughout the stone, and there is a clear, quartz matrix present
- Stone number three is a nugget that belonged to my grandmother
The matrix is a chocolatey brown that varies from medium to light in color, while the turquoise varies in hues from a medium blue to a light green. The matrix also has a foggy white quartz (?) present.
