I have a small update that I’m a sucker. 
A local antiques appraiser who advertises expertise in Native American jewelry said this would sell at around $750 on eBay … because he searched eBay. He only looked at photos of the piece. Anyway - steer clear of Jack Wartell at Antique Trader in Denver.
I really want to learn more about it and where/when it might be from (he said 1970) and what type of turquoise it is. The silver work is different than many I see. Hoping someone will chime in with expertise — I’ve been learning a lot from other threads here.
