I recently acquired a couple of estate pieces and can’t identify the artist. The first is a ring with coral, turquoise, and malachite stones. Looks very Navajo in design. It is signed in script W. S. U. Any help with this? Could it be one of the Ukestines? Can’t find one with a first name that starts with W. The second piece is a large cuff with a large (what appears to be) turquoise stone or could be some other stone (looks a little odd for turquoise). The design again appears to be Navajo, but rather plain with little embellishments. It is stamped BB on the back along with Sterling. Any thoughts on that? The third piece is a cuff bracelet with MOP in the center. Again appears to be Navajo, but very simple design. It is stamped on the back with a C with sunrays above the C along with Sterling. Thoughts? The fourth piece is a large pin/pendant with turquoise cluster pattern along with 1/2 moons & raindrops around the center cluster of turquoise. This could be Zuni, but who knows. It has been stamped DLN, but the letters were obviously stamped separately (don’t line up completely) along with Sterling. To me, the turquoise looks fake - no veining, too perfect. It is nice workmanship is nothing else. Not sure what I have here. Any help with any of these? If you need pictures, let me know. Thanks in advance.
thought it best to include pics. First 3 are the large pin/pendant hallmarked DLN. The turquoise looks fake to me. How about you? The next 3 pics are the MOP cuff hallmarked with a C with sun rays above it. The last pics are the ring scribed with what appears to be W. S. U. Any help with these? Thanks
