Hey guys, I could use some opinions here. This is a really big stone, biggest I’ve ever used, so I struggling with how to present it. For a man’s buckle…use the nuggets or go without nuggets. The coin is about the same as a US nickel. What do ya think? The plan is to trim off the excess base plate. Kyle

Hi there, my personal opinion would be without the nuggets, they make is more ‘messy’ and loses the beautiful design a bit.

the nuggets seem out of place & only clutter up the canvas outside of the twisted rope.
that area might shine better with some intricate stamp work and cuts or curves

No nuggets. It looks much cleaner and classic without them and I think you see the beauty of the stone stand out more without all the extra fluff to draw your eye away.

As much as I enjoy “go big or go home”,adding stones here would be like backing Pavarotti w/a “boy band”.
