That’s a pretty ring but are you sure that is a hallmark? It looks like a raised blob of silver.

Nice hand made Navajo ring but that’s definitely a blob of solder sticking up not a stamped indention going down into the metal.

I think your ring today started out it’s life as an earring. To me this looks like the broken attachment point from an older wire hook type of back. The solder work on 3 of the shanks looks too clean and more recent.
as far as type of turquoise my best guess would be a polished Morenci nugget.
I would continue to be elated over your purchase because it is a fine looking piece and you don’t need to look in a mirror to see it when you wear it.
