I’ve had these pins for many years, no idea of origin or maker. I hope you can see the backs - do those initials mean anything? I am interested in selling them but I know nothing about them. Thanks,
Cheryl
Thank you for sharing. These two pieces are Zuni inlay art. The Thunderbird on the left I wouldn’t have an idea of who made it, but the piece on the right has the style of a John Gordon Leak piece. The markings on the back or most likely a cost code. Great pieces, what do you want to sell the Leak style piece for?
Thanks for the info - would you care to make an offer? I still need help on the Thunderbird - have you heard of Charlene or Carlene Leakity/Leekity? That name was mentioned in my research. Thanks Jason.
my uncle left this for me and I was wondering if this is an artist anyone knows? not sure if this is a real artist replica, real piece or something else. I have attached some picts, i know its silver but the markings look like SP. Just wondering if anyone knows artist or what if any tribe it maybe made from.
Not sure who made the Thunderbird, we would have something like $110 retail on that if it was in the store. The Leekya piece would think around $600 - $700, but if you find the right collector maybe more. I do not know the Carlene Charlene name.
