Identifying and dating native american style concho belt silver

Sorry not a dealer, thank you for your information but I am not sure how you thought I may be a dealer. I am just a collector of beautiful things and wanted to know if what I had was genuine or reproduction. I have a jewelry store nearby my work that has the xrf and helped me out with it. He unfortunately doesnt know a whole lot about native American pieces. However, if I ever decided to sell any native American items. Ill be as careful as possible and I appreciate your concern a d advice.

It isn’t Navajo, or hand made, but regardless of the metals composition what you have is a real piece of genuine historical Americana from the heyday of the Route 66 era. For me it evokes imagery of 1950s automobiles exploring the American West and the many roadside ā€˜trading posts’ that catered to the booming tourist trade of that era. It’s really special in that sense, and definitely worth hanging on to.
