Interesting in purchasing this “turquoise” piece from an online seller however she doesn’t have much information saying it was bought 50 yrs ago.

@Marlu Hi & Welcome. That’s a nice ring. Is the ring stamped Sterling or .925? Is it hallmarked? Without provenance, it’s nearly impossible to accurately know the type of turquoise (or stone). It’s mainly just guesswork.

Thanks for your message patina. Seller says it’s sterling although the stamp “rubbed off” from years of use.
does the stone itself appear to be real turquoise? The pattern?
