I’m having a hard time finding any comparable belts to this one. No hallmarks that I could see. Trying to figure out its value. Any ideas of where to look? Thanks
I’ve seen Zuni link belts with conchos consisting of butterfly and Sunface inlay, but yours is a bit more modernist/abstract. A quick search yielded this one made by Calvin Begay and Orlando Spencer. I’m not saying it’s a comparable example, as it is hallmarked by two well known artists, but it may be a nugget to aid in your search.
