Looking for “JM (under) Sunrays” hallmark ID
I am negotiating purchase of a lovely pendant and wondering if anyone can ID the artist belonging to it. Picture attached.

I had no luck with this hallmark. There are a boatload of JM hallmarks in the book I have, but none with the sunray symbol. I also tried searching within this forum, but nothing came up. Sometimes we never find hallmarks, or possibly it’s not Native American made. Maybe someone else will have better luck than I did.
BTW, your user name is great; I love Canyon Wrens. When we are traveling out west I get excited whenever I hear one (in canyons of course 
), and my trips never feel complete until I do!

Thank you so much for looking! The call of the canyon wren soothes my soul and takes me back to a my 15 day Colorado River paddle through Grand Canyon several years ago. Listening to their song echoing through the canyon was truly magical.

That’s something I still dream of doing - rafting the GC. I bet it was amazing!! I’ve been to the to the canyon many times (even camped at the bottom), but have never rafted the canyon proper. We did smooth water raft the portion from the damn to Lee’s Ferry, and that was beautiful, but I wanted to jump on the rafts of the people preparing head on down the Colorado. The first Canyon Wren I heard was in Zion.
