So this am at Church I looked up at the balcony banister and some of the stained glass windows. All I could see were people like on the inside of your cuff

Wow, I think I may have thought the same thing. I have wondered about the difference in the two figures on my cuff. One has five fairly straight lines in the body while the other has three curvy ones. It makes me think maybe male and female? Love the stained glass.
