I will definitely follow up on this thread!
Teaser photo of Kerah Tsosie 14 charm bracelet with stamped barrel beads. Each charm is stamped on the back.
Did you purchase this? It’s gorgeous! Looks like the stones might be different from different mines; that’s cool.
I didn’t. I was asked to help identify pieces. Who knew it would be a great challenge. The show is this weekend11-1/11-3.
But I bet you had fun! What a great honor and opportunity.
Oh my goodness. It has been an amazing experience. I will most likely never see anything like it on this side of the Mississippi. It has been a great honor to be involved in this charity event!
Wowza! I hope you have a credit card or lots of cash Looks like it would be so much fun to be there. This buckle in particular reminds me of my mom’s that she bought in '69.
So many nice pieces!! Were they donated? Who was Angela Roach.
Beautiful! Less like hers up close, but it is a common style. Love it!
@nanc9354 She was an avid jewelry collector. This is a small part of it. Her husband said she had been collecting since she was sixteen.
That green & white stone, in your 2nd photo, isn’t malachite. Looks like an agate to me.
Ah, artificially colored, that makes sense too. Ain’t buy these.
I’m not sure. I will have to ask tomorrow.
I have eyes for the concho belt below the needle point squash blossom
That concho belt was one of the first items sold!
Here are items that were not for sale but on display.
All of it…WOW.
The jewelry by Alice Lister, crazy! My ring I got this past April is made by her husband; what a talented family.
I gotta admit that buckle (if that’s what it is) by Leo Begay is kind of creeping me out
I have to agree with you. They say that it was an artist’s sample to showcase his talent.
The Alice Lister set was commissioned by her husband as a gift to her. He chose the colors for the it.
