This belonged to my husband that passed away in 2005. He had it made while in either Arizona or New Mexico when he was a teenager. It holds a operating mini NAA revolver. It has two markings on it. One on the inside under the pistol and one on the back. I was wondering if anyone knew who the artist is and also approximate value. I know the pistol retail is $230. Thank you for any help you can offer.
This is a very cool piece. The closest mark I can find in a book is Daisy Hooee. She is the mother of Shirley Benn and I don’t know if she would have ever done work like this. I want to say I have seen this style before, and believe it to be Native American made. Thanks for sharing.
