Need help with turquoise ID

Sierra Nevada was written on the back of this piece but I have my doubts. My best guess is Carlin. What do you think?

It has that characteristic but could be a number of things, just could be a cut of turquoise with lots of host rock. I think it could be a number of things and is full of character. We should always go to source first, and if a piece has something written on it, really consider it.
