Welcome to the forum! Beautiful stone. Looks like sterling, but may have been over-enthusiastically cleaned. Looks like residue of old paste polish inside the nooks and crannies.
Iām not an expert on mines. Lots of folks here know way more than me, and have access to books to possibly ID the hallmark.
