Greetings all. I have started a new hobby. I have been interested in identifying turquiose but apparently not good at it all. Can some please help me in identifying this necklace? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum! Looks like Jason gave you a great answer.
Attributing jewelry to specific turquoise mines can often be difficult, even for folks who’ve been doing it for decades. Unless you have provenance from the miner or the silversmith, it will usually be guesswork.

Thank you all. I really do appreciate your knowledge and expertise.
This is another piece of jewelry that my wife had inherited and just loves it but can not find any info on it because of no markings.

In general, can you try for better lighting and macro/zoom to the stone? By better lighting I mean natural, either indoor or outdoor (not flash).

I hope that these pics can help. Not very good at this and my phone is ancient like me.
