Opal Dragonfly Pin Pendant

Anyone ever seen anything like this ? I certainly have not. Picked it up at a thrift store today.

Nice find! These are pretty common in Native American and Taxco Sterling. If you google “Taxco Draqgonfly” or “Old Pawn Dragonfly” you will be able to see quite a number of photos. Going from the style of the bezels on yours and the stamped Sterling mark, I would say it is most likely Navajo. Similar example below.

I love them, I wanna buy two more and make me some earrings!

I’m so glad I found this site! :grinning:

Well I’m wrong again, I thought Navajo! But never the less, these are nice pieces!

Love these dragonflies! Since we’re sharing, I have a dragonfly cuff bracelet by Raymond Sequaptewa and a fetish by Peter Sohappy…Hopefully, one of these days I’ll get a pendant too!
