Rocks! Rocks!

Got a new to me necklace. Doesn’t look pump drilled. Any idea of age?

Probably 50s-70s, odds are more likely 1960s/70s. Wouldn’t have been pump drilled turquoise; that’s a really early technology and generally uncharacteristic by mid-twentieth c.
These would be stabilized nuggets, and it has rather nice heishi. I have a couple like this myself.

What I’m not excited about is the clasp findings: not hook and eye but hook and hook, very odd and insecure. It would be way too easy for this to come apart when worn, so consider changing out the findings.

Hey here’s an easy fix for your hook without restringing if your interested.

Hope this helps, Kyle

Thanks Kyle. Will try this.

I’d close up one of those hook endings so you have a secure closure that doesn’t dig in like a couple of fish hooks.
