The Lost Vein of Sleeping Beauty

It wouldn’t surprise me if -thanks to this truly interesting topic- the Lost Vein Sleeping Beauty might become some of the most wanted turquoise in the world. From what i can tell SB in general is becoming more and more valuable by the day, and this stuff is extra gorgeous imho.

(I’m thinking if of the LVSB ± 163 pounds was ever mined vs. Lander Blue’s supposedly ± 110 pounds for instance, and with loads of the LVSB supposedly disappearing throughout the years…)

Lol. My hubbie and I have occasionally been watching a few reruns of Gomer Pyle.

All the cabs I purchased were this deep blue. From what @Bisquitlips states, the LVSB was this deep color and extremely hard, so shouldn’t absorb oils and deepen the color. The cabs I’ve had set in jewelry have been handled quite a bit and have not changed color. Like other gem quality turquoise, I don’t see these changing color.
