That’s a big help @fernwood thank you. I’m glad to have my suspicions confirmed about these. Makes me sad when they are misrepresented, but I have no problem when the sellers are honest about them being a manmade “stone”. I’m keeping the 2 I have, cause they didn’t cost much and they ARE really pretty. But I’ve seen a necklace of slabs like the ones you show above listed at close to 1,000. They are good enough to fool lots of peeps.
