I worked on the Navajo reservation around 1990. While I was there I had a local artisan create a watchband for me. I can’t remember his name but he made me a watchband that has red coral and sleeping beauty turquoise. It also has a 1976 Liberty coin that has been knocked out, so it has a 3D look. I haven’t worn the watchband for years and just found it in a box in my closet. Is there a way to tell if the artisan signed it or who he might be? I’m sending several pics if it will help. Leaf stamp work and scroll work live this was typical of most Native American artists during the seventies and eighties. We could help you further if you could post a picture of the inside of the cuff, along with any marks.
