I’m certainly no kachina expert, but I always associate Mudheads with round eyes and no feather headdress or collar or sash.
To me, Duke’s bolo looks more like a Kipok Kachina with a yucca whip in his hand. More than likely, I’m probably wrong.

I agree with you. It looks exactly like a Kipok. Dukes kachinas eyes are slanted i see that now. And it has an awesome warrior spirit feel to it.

Here’s another angle of Duke’s bolo. I’m starting to think it’s a Early Morning Kachina (minus the usual evergreen tree). If you enlarge the photo, it looks like a bell in his right hand and you can see the black leg ties below the knees, which would be accurate.
