I saw this too and thought of this thread!

Funny how our eyes will go to that small detail of the turquoise in any photo, right? You and I must be members of the same Facebook group…

President Carter must wear that bolo quite a bit. He is wearing it in other photos at different events in different years.

Could be; I honestly don’t remember where I saw it

I’m stuck home today not feeling well so this was entertaining.

Hey, they still sound good! My husband loves The Who, and a couple years ago on TV there was a Who concert. Rodger Daltrey wasn’t sounding so good. Especially when he let out the scream on Who are you…

REO gets the award for weird album title, "You Can Tune a Piano, but You Can’t Tuna Fish"

BTW, have you come across any John Cougar pictures with turquoise? He seems like the type that would wear it. He’s always been one of my favorites.

Larry Storch from F Troop, who passed away today at age 99. RIP Corporal.

Okay, this one stings a bit. One of my favorite character actors in many Westerns died yesterday at age 94. Already shown in October 2018, but he deserves a repost along with a new photo. RIP, L.Q. Jones :frowning:

Peter Fonda with a concho belt and Dennis Hopper with something going on around his neck, 1971.

Hopper’s necklace (from what I can see) reminds me just a bit of the depression era Santo Domingo necklaces.

Until we get a positive ID on his necklace, here’s Dennis in 1978…

Edited to add a better photo of his belt…

Not sure who is pictured on the left, but he’s part of the cast or crew of “The Last Movie”, a film directed by Dennis Hopper in 1971. Adding him because of his awesome sandcast buckle! :slightly_smiling_face:

The photo above is not from the set of “The Last Movie”. Newsweek magazine is from October 1977. Pretty sure it is from the set of “The American Friend”, 1977. Hopper is wearing the same hat and clothing in the movie. I have no idea who this gentleman is on the left, but I still like his buckle. :slightly_smiling_face:
