Nikki Haley wearing a concho belt with a black finish and unusually thick conchos. Obviously not authentic, but has anyone seen a belt like this before? She seems to wear it quite a bit.

I have not, but I like it. The conchos look like they’re possibly leather? At least when I blow the picture of a bit, they kind of look like they have leather texture.

That’s a unique looking concho belt. While not my cup-of-tea, I would like to know more about it. Hmm, leather conchos is an interesting thought @Ziacat. You may be on to something there.

Re Nikki Hayley’s conchos…could very well be leather; some of your older Western saddles had some great leather rosettes, flowers, and conchos attached. Maybe bridle parts.

Leather is a real possibility. I zoomed in and sharpened up the image. It does appear the buckle is laced around the perimeter. I did a google search for “leather concho belt”, but nothing similar popped up. I’ll bet @Steve can get to the bottom of this mystery.

I was googling this also yesterday, and couldn’t find anything either, except that she’s been awarded an honorary karate black belt 
I did the leather concho belt search too with no luck.
