Even in recent years, The Bohlin Company made buckles for Robert Redford in The Horse Whisperer and Matt Damon in All The Pretty Horses.

May already have been mentioned here, but it’s interesting how (compared to a lot of the more “styled” looks of other celebrities in this thread) there are a lot of photos of Joni Mitchell repeatedly wearing the same pieces. She seems to have lived in this heishi style turquoise disc bead necklace in 1970, including for her 1970 concert at the BBC Television Center.

@Stracci - All those old Val Lewton movies are THE best. His screenplays are absolutely top-tier, outstanding—the quality is in total contrast to the wild, studio-imposed titles like The Leopard Man or I Walked with a Zombie (!) that he was forced to write around. I sometimes teach the latter in my classes because it’s essentially Jane Eyre in the tropics and just a truly breathtakingly beautiful film.

I’m glad somebody else knows this movie, The Leopard Man! Everything Lewton touched is just pure gold.
