I thought they were for shirt collars until I saw the backs. Unless you use safety pins to attach them. Part of a necklace?

Thanks Jason and Momma! I knew I had seen something like them, but couldn’t place them in my foggy memory! Are these common? Or are they more for tribal use? I see them online described as collar tabs…would they have been part of a greater set?
