Who is HSJ? Thrift store find

I just bought this ring at a thrift store.
I had looked at it several times in the past, but today it was 50% off, so I grabbed it. It looks like the shank was cast.

Does anyone know HSJ? I can’t find anything online. Thanks in advance

I think this could be Herman Smith, Jr.

@Stracci That’s a cool looking ring. Maybe Sleeping Beauty or Kingman turquoise? I checked my Bille Hougart 3rd edition Hallmarks book but, I don’t see a listing for HSJ.
