I grew up in the Four Corners Area (Farmington NM) and now live near Cincinnati. I have been collecting Native-made jewelry for many years. I love to buy pieces directly from the artist when I visit NM, but also pick up interesting pieces at antique shows. I have collected many reference books and enjoy using them to solve the puzzle of “who and when”. I favor Zuni, Hopi and Navajo jewelry. My current favorite artist is Edith Tsabetsay, (Zuni) who creates fabulous needlepoint. I have recently started preparing to sell some of my collection on eBay and/or Etsy. But it’s hard for me to part with it.
