I’m from Kentucky and currently a NYC resident with relatives in CO. My interest in Native American jewelry stems from childhood trips to Mesa Verde and Vail CO; Taos and Santa Fe NM. I like old pawn, traditional, and contemporary work and appreciate fine materials, craftsmanship, artistry and originality. I’m especially drawn to work with an abstract quality that evokes nature and the cosmos. I’m new to learning about styles periods and artists and appreciate the work of Ervin Tsosie, Boyd Tsosie, Harold Smity, Alvin Yellowhorse, and Ronald Tom (to name a few.)
