I paid a gal for this buckle, so I am really not Native, but it is discouraging that I can not find the artist. In 2016 or so I found the woman’s name and an article about her in some store/gallery. The woman had the option to buy it back, but she passed away. I am getting the stone replaced by a silver artist.
I was wondering if anyone thinks it could be initials, the two snakes form an SS. I love natural things, and will probably keep it.
