My birthstone is turquoise, but I only fell in love with it when I discovered Navajo jewellery! Now I’m eager to learn and absorb as much as possible about turquoise and Navajo traditional silver pieces. I already own a small collection of Canadian west coast Indigenous jewellery (very different in style, of course) and am interested in both traditional and modern styles in First Nations jewellery—what I think of as gloriously wearable and shareable art.
