1980's Turquoise Ring-Mine?

Anyone want to venture a guess as to what mine this turquoise is from?

Cab was purchased at Thunderbird Supply, Gallup, NM, in the mid 1980’s.
I have always loved the color variations. It is probably stabilized, as the color has not changed over the years.
The Sterling ring was made by my husband in the mid 1980’s. The first ring he ever made. He was not Native American.

The ring has some flaws, such as a narrow band, excess solder and too much spacing, but I still like and wear it.

Value would also be appreciated. I have seen some comparable, modern day, Anglo rings and pricing is all over the place.
I am not interested in selling it, but curious.

Thank you.

I’m trying to figure out if that goldish color is pyrite?

No, it is not. There are areas of brown. Some yellow to greenish. A lot of color variations in the turquoise.

Then I don’t have a guess on your turquoise. It’s a lovely ring; I really like the twisted band and the twisting around the stone.

Thank you. Not bad for a first ring made.

I am going to try looking at different types of Turquoise and see if something similar pops up.

Might this be Royston? It kind of looks like that.
