2 markings, 1 ring…please help!?!?

Any ideas of who this maker is? I’ve seen it before but now can’t find it anywhere and can’t remember for the life of me!

Thank you so much,
Jana’a :grimacing:

It might be best if you started a separate thread just for your squash, because members might be more likely to see it. I can’t really read what the hallmark is.

Hi @ange. This is an example of a commercially produced shadow box squash blossom, likely one of many made in a batch for commercial sale. The squash is hand crafted, assembled from mostly ready made components - sterling shadow box stampings, ready made bezel cups, and machine cut standard (4x6mm or 5X7mm) most likely sleeping beauty turquoise cabochons (possibly stabilized), and standard bench beads and findings.

The work is mostly very clean which attests to the silversmiths skill. There is a bit of errant solder partially occluding the hallmark. However as this piece is one of many made in batches, if you keep an eye out you’ll likely come across another by the same maker, hopefully with a clear hallmark.

I was finally able to get that part, but have you ever seen the 1 4 marked on any pieces?
