American Indian or Mexican Origin?

Sterling silver stamp, no other markings. Beautiful heavy bracelet. Jade or green onyx? American Indian or Mexico, hmmm. Any ideas out there?

this would not be Hopi, Navajo or Zuni. from the picture it has more of a malachite look, thanks for sharing

This seems to be a Mexican item. The face is very typical of their designs.

Thank you both for your comments. I always thought it was Mexican - it’s not malachite though.

I believe them to be Mexican. Maybe Aztec. I have seen a few of these faces in earrings, pendants and bracelets, but in a much lighter green stone and also in onyx. Yours seem more unique than what I have come across, in that the faces are much larger and the extra filigree. I normally find a circular hecho en mexico marking around the clasp. Hope this helps
